Die Band LaMarotte besteht aus fünf engagierten Musikern, die auch aufgrund ihrer musikalischen Wurzeln, eine ganz eigene Vorstellung von mittelalterlicher Folklore entwickelt haben.

Es entstand ein Crossover aus Mittelalter, Folk, Klassik, Rock und Jazz.

Mittelaltermusik mit unverkennbar irischen und keltischen Einflüssen, die kraftvoll und frisch einherkommt, getragen von erdigen Bass- Sounds, beflügelt von schnellen Solis.

Groovige Gitarrenriffs und pulsierende, teilweise rockige Rhythmen treffen auf knackige Schalmeien- Sounds und schwebende Geigenklänge.

Gespielt werden sowohl traditionelle als auch eigene Stücke. Garantiert tanzbar!

The band LaMarotte consists of five engaged musicians who have developed on the basis of their musical roots, an own way to play medieval folk music.

Thus originated a crossover from folk, classic, rock and jazzmusic.

Middle ages music with unmistakeably irish and celtic influence, powerfull and fresh, carried by earthy bass sounds, inspired by fast improvisations.

Groovy guitar riffs and rock rhythms meet the crisp sound of pipes and the sweet voice of a violin.

Traditionals are played as well as own compositions. Guaranteed danceable!
